Monday and Tuesday Night Workshop Starting 22nd Mar 2021

Spend 3 hours each Monday and Tuesday evening (6pm – 9pm) learning the art of upholstery with Bec in a small class setting. You will be expertly guided and supported to complete your chosen upholstery project.

Recommended projects would include small armchairs, footstools, seat cushions, desk chairs, and dining chairs.
Think simple for your first project. If your project requires structural work or is larger than this, you will be unable to complete it in the workshop time. Best to look for a project that has a sound frame. Anything older than 1970’s is likely to need internal work before you can recover it.

Course Dates are

Monday 22/3 and Tuesday 23/3, Tuesday 6/4, Monday 19/4 and Tuesday 20/4 and Monday 3/5. These dates reflect the public holidays 🙂

Booking is non-refundable and changes to enrollment are not able to be made within 2 weeks prior to the workshop commencing. Registration in this class is acceptance of these terms.

Description

Projects for the workshop are best discussed with Bec prior so she can assist you with the level of complexity, and make sure you’ll be able to complete the project during the course. She will be able to assist you with fabric choices, and estimate the amount needed, as well as being able to order it through her suppliers so it is ready for when the course starts.

Equipment and tools are available for use during the course. Fabric and any other incidentals are to be paid for separately. Please also remember to wear appropriate closed-toe shoes – it is a workshop!

We recommend booking in for the class if you’re keen as there are limited spaces available, and we will make contact with you once we have your registration.
